In 1989 Mark, Guy and Penny Rendle identified a need for rugged, high quality New Zealand designed and made pumps and sprayers to meet increasing diversity in land use. Bertolini Australasia has grown from this concept to become New Zealand's leader in pumps and sprayers, employing over twenty people in their manufacturing facility in Hamilton. In 2008 Bertolini Australasia opened a branch in Geelong, Victoria to service the Australian market. BA Group distributes the complete Bertolini range and other quality sprayer accessories. Much of their success has come from a commitment to researching the unique New Zealand land use markets then developing and manufacturing products that meet and often surpass the expectations of customers. This uncompromising strategy has given the company a true edge in the tough rural marketplace. This research has now been extended to the Australian market. The relationship with Bertolini Italy has allowed the company to bring in the best Italian and German technology which is combined with the New Zealand solution at the manufacturing end; the result is the best outcome for that sprayer or pressure cleaner problem in the Australasian environment, at a price that is still economic for customers. In this way Bertolini Australasia has developed superb solutions for viticulture, horticulture, silviculture and other agricultural needs across all geographic regions of New Zealand.
